Vicky

The first testimonial comes from an experience in the Writer's life. 
The wife of one his co-workers had given birth to their newest child.  During the delivery, she got e-coli bacteria in her blood stream and was taken to the Intensive Care unit.  After a short time, the doctors indicated that she would probably not survive. 

After hearing of her condition, the Writer became very burdened for her and her family and felt that he was supposed to go pray for her. 
After “procrastinating” for 2 days, he couldn’t stand it any longer. He had to go pray for this woman whose name was Vicky.  The Writer went to the Intensive Care Unit and was told that because he wasn’t family, they couldn’t allow him to see her.  Vicky’s husband, Lee, was at the office when the Writer returned to work.  After telling Lee about the strong burden he had to pray for Vicky they went to the hospital together.   Vicky had been in a coma for days and the only visible sign of life was her breathing.  The Writer prayed a short prayer and then recited “A Healing Stillness” over Vicky.  During the recitation, her arm went straight up in the air, the most positive sign of life in days. 

The next morning, the Writer's supervisor, who happened to be Vicky’s brother-in-law, called and asked him this question.  “Do you have a straight line to heaven or something?”  The Writer was totally baffled and asked his supervisor what he was talking about.  The supervisor said that Vicky started improving just after the Writer left the hospital.  He said that she was getting better and better and they were expecting her to go home in a few days.  A few days later, she was at home, caring for her new baby!

Later, Vicky told the Writer that when her arm went up in the air, she knew she would be OK and she had raised her arm in praise to God for her healing! 

Donna

A businessman from Kentucky was given a tape.  He took it home and gave it to his wife who had been suffering from lupus for 5 years.  She said within herself, “If God hasn’t healed me by now, what good is that tape going to do me?”   She would not listen to “A Healing Stillness” for 2 days.  At the end of 2 days, she felt that she just HAD to listen to the tape!

A verse in “A Healing Stillness” says, “I love you deeply.  I care for your life”.  Donna scoffed at that statement.  She thought, “If you love me so much, why haven’t you healed me?”  Then she began to realize how angry she had been at God and began to cry and repent of her anger.  She listened and she cried all night long! 

She said that He healed her emotions first, and then healed her body.  When she had Lupus, on a good day she could move from her bed to the couch. 

Donna wrote, that after that night, she could move freely and do anything she wanted to do and the lupus was gone!

A Life Was Saved

The Writer was at a Church soft ball game when a man who was a policeman walked up to him with an outstretched hand.  He shook the Writer's hand and said “Thank you, Thank you, Thank you”.  The Writer was caught totally off guard and he asked the man what he was referring to.

The man said that his wife had been given “A Healing Stillness” tape and she gave it to him.  He said his life was so unbearable that one day, he had decided to take his life.  He had a gun in his glove compartment.  As he reached for that gun to end it all, he got the tape instead and decided to listen to it.  God redeemed his life from destruction that day. Over a period of several years, the Writer and this man saw each other.  Each time, it was the same as it was at the softball game, the policeman said “Thank You” again!

Another Life Saved

A similar report came from a different state.  Someone had given a man a tape of “A Healing Stillness”.  Some weeks later, the man called that person to thank them.  He had planned to end his life before he received the tape.  He had every detail of how he would end his life planned out, but he had abandoned his plan after God touched his life through the Message!

A Greiving Daughter

The owner of a Christian bookstore had experienced the loss of her father.  She was devastated.  She had been given “A Healing Stillness” some weeks before her father passed away.  She went to her home, turned off everything, and played the tape and as she listened, she finally found the peace she so desperately needed to find!

Jail Ministry

A lady who had a Ministry to women in a County jail, played  “A Healing Stillness” as part of her Ministry at one of her services. She reported that many of the women began to weep and cry out to the Lord!
